- “Jeonbuk State Helps Married Immigrants Acquirement of Korean Citizenship” Jeonbuk State and Jeonbuk International Cooperation Agency on Tuesday developed ‘Jeonbuk Nationality+,’ a mobile textbook for interviewing foreign residents, including marriage immigrants, to obtain Korean citizenship, for the first time in the country. 「Jeonbuk Nationality」 is a mobile app created by Jeonbuk State as a pledge of the eighth term of the civilian government to ease the difficulties of the final oral examination for marriage immigrants to obtain Korean citizenship. The app can be downloaded from mobile phone platforms and used without registration, making it free of charge for marriage immigrants in Jeonbuk as well as foreign residents nationwide. The app is comprised of a total of 563 questions designed for marriage immigrants undergoing simplified naturalization and for foreign nationals, and it was developed based on the Ministry of Justice's 「Proud Korean」 guide. In addition, the province operates 365 Marriage Immigrants 320 Sister Mentor Group to support marriage immigrants to settle in a stable region and acquire nationality, and is promoting a project to support 300,000 won for nationality acquisition costs when acquiring nationality. 「Jeonbuk Nationality+」 made its debut on the 20th at the “MY Jeonbuk World Festival,” where foreign residents of Jeonbuk gather.
